Happy Sunday all,
Last Thursday I deciding to do some baking with my little brother (little being 13 this year but I still feel like he’s the baby of the family). Anyway, they were incredible and had a few recipe requests so I had to share with you. I found this recipe on BBC Food but switched it up a little.Read More
I feel like I haven't done many posts about fashion on my blog so I’m going to start! I’ve been having a little bit of writers block recently but I need to remember that not every post is going to be everyone's cup of tea… But that’s the fun of it I suppose! It’s my little space to write about anything! So, fashion it is.Read More
Happy Sunday all,
I tried this recipe that I came across when researching how to make a healthy pesto and oh my heavenly lord above, it’s absolutely, divinely, phenomenal. You seriously need to try it.Read More
So here we are, 12 days deep into 2019 already. Here is the first month of book club for the year and it’s a good one!
Reading is and always has been such an escape for me. Those around me will know I always have a book close by. Sometimes I’ll spend hours reading to let my imagination fill my mind instead of thoughts such as how many loads of washing I’ve got piling up or how messy the space around me is.Read More
It’s currently the 3rd of January 2019 and this year I’ve decided to go about things slightly differently. Instead fo the usual resolutions consisting of eating better, exercising more and spending less. I’ve decided on a few, more useful, resolutions. When I say useful, I mean useful for me as I know I could never stick to one of those resolutions for longer than a day. As soon as I see pizza, that’s two of the three resolutions out the window. And the exercise one too I suppose as who’s going to hop off the sofa and run a 10k after an entire, large Dominos pizza? Not me.Read More
I have to be honest and say you’ve probably been the second toughest year of my life thus far. It wasn’t all bad though. In fact, I’ve made so many great memories and have achieved so much, personally. I’d say my biggest accomplishment was starting Happy Go Meg - my literal happy place.Read More
It’s the 28th of December, you’ve consumed approximately three million calories and you’re feeling a bit puffy and gross… Or at least I am.
It’s perfectly normal to put on a few lbs over the festive period however it still makes us feel pretty shitty.Read More
This is a very impromptu post with zero planning but I just needed to write something for anyone grieving the loss of someone.Read More
I used to be so worried about doing things by myself - or I just wouldn’t think to do things by myself. I’ve recently (as of the past couple of months) come to realise that it’s actually really ok to go shopping alone, or go for a coffee alone, or go for a walk by yourself etc.Read More
So - there are officially 7 days until Christmas. It would be great if we were 100% organised but for some of us, that’s just not the case. I tend to leave Christmas shopping until the very last minute and I really don’t know why as I just get stressed… Every year.Read More
I wanted to talk about something a little more personal as it’s something that has really been a weight on my shoulders I guess I could say.Read More
This is actually the second time I’m writing this as it decided to just not save after the first. I did originally start out by telling you about how cosy my writing set up was with fairy lights and Christmas candles. However, I’m now sat in a jumper feeling rather fragile after this weekend. But that’s another story.Read More
I can already feel the festive cheer, smell the mulled wine from every direction and feel like I have put on around 4 pounds in weight due to my brain believing it’s ok to eat and drink everything due the fact ‘it’s Christmas’.Read More
When I say I’m not at naturally organised person - that is the biggest understatement ever. I truly have to work so hard to be organised. The weird thing is - I actually hate being unorganised as it makes me feel anxious and stressed. So why it’s s hard for me to actually be organised is beyond me.Read More
This place is incredible.
I have truly had the best day today. It’s my friends birthday today so we ventured into Cliston, Bristol and went to the Ivy for some breakfast. I’ve never been before and it’s safe to say it was love at first sight.Read More
So you might be wondering where the other entry went and I’m not going to go into too much detail but basically I chose to delete it as I feel it was too raw to be able to decipher in the way I wanted to.Read More
So - just a little bit of an FYI - there is a payment option on brands such as ASOS called klarna. It’s a ‘buy now pay later’ option but it means you don’t have to pay for anything unless you're keeping it!!Read More

Last month I recommended an easy read by my all time favourite author - if you missed that one click here. So this month I thought I’d go for something a bit darker as I absolutely love me a thriller.Read More
I’m currently sat at my desk with all my fairy lights glittering around me and warm scented candles burning in the background giving off a relaxing glow; so I thought now was the perfect time to have a little chat about everything I’ve been loving over the last month - both beauty and lifestyle items.Read More
