I’m the first to admit that I am rubbish at watching series, so this review might be a bit late to the party. I’ve only ever finished Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl (although Gossip Girl took me approximately 3 years). I just can’t stay interested for long enough. I honestly have around 7 series that I’ve half watched - probably more now I’m thinking about it.
Now, I don’t know if it’s because there are only eight episodes so far or because they are only around the 40 minute mark but I finished it!! I actually binged watched it in three days. Killing eve is on BBC Iplayer which is actually great because there are hardly any adverts. Win.
They cast it really well - the characters were great and the actors played their roles amazingly. I’m a bit funny with this because if a role isn’t played well, I can’t really get into it. Anyone else like this? The way it was filmed and edited was great - I even loved the little details like the title of the country they were in that would pop up over the clip in large but slightly transparent white text. It just made it easy for the viewer to keep up and it was a bit of a modern touch. The story line was so great - I was genuinely hooked. And lastly, the ending is such a cliffhanger and I actually sat there for a minute in shock. By sat, I definitely mean stood trying to do my fake tan but getting way too distracted by the program.
I highly recommend! Let me know what you thought of it too.
I’m about to start Bodyguard and so far, so great.
See you in the next one,
